Rehydrate With A Home Remedy As a prepper, I try to
anticipate our every need and take the steps to prepare for each need.
So, last year, while working outside daily in temperatures reaching over
90 degrees and in the blazing sun, the need to rehydrate became
apparent, especially in cases when water isn’t enough. We do not have to be an
athletic individual with sweat pouring from our body to become
dehydrated. We lose water daily through normal body functions such as
breathing, perspiring and even through our urine and bowel movements.
The foods we eat, what we drink and our environment also affect our
hydration. Read

Samuel Hahnemann, a German physician in the 1800s, is considered the father of homeopathy. Something of major concern...What is
going on??? President Obama signed his 86th executive order (13575) on June 9, which established the White House Rural Council (WHRC). According to The Blaze, the Executive Order seems to be in line with the United Nations radical Agenda 21, as it is designed “to begin taking control over almost all aspects of the lives of 16 percent of the American people.” Evidence of this can be found in Section One of the Executive Order, which reads: Section 1. Policy. Sixteen percent of the American population lives in rural counties. Strong, sustainable rural communities are essential to winning the future and ensuring American competitiveness in the years ahead. These communities supply our food, fiber, and energy, safeguard our natural resources, and are essential in the development of science and innovation. Read More Read the Executive Order

"The policy set for GE alfalfa will

This news means farmers will now be able to plant Roundup Ready GE alfalfa without restrictions, beginning as soon as this spring. The

the USDA’s deregulation decision is a setback, we will continue the
fight for the protection of non-GE food, as we have ever since

Just one piece in the puzzle of why
healthcare costs are so high... Aetna Inc. (AET) is suing six New Jersey doctors over medical bills it calls “unconscionable,” including $56,980 for a bedside consultation and $59,490 for an ultrasound that typically costs $74. The lawsuits could help determine what pricing limits insurers can impose on ”out-of-network” physicians who don’t have contracts with health plans that spell out how much a service or procedure can cost. One defendant billed $30,000 for a Caesarean birth, and another raised his fee for seeing a critically ill patient in a hospital to $9,000 in 2008 from $500 the year before, the insurer alleges in the suits. The Caesarean price was more than 10 times the in-network amount Aetna quotes on its website. Read More

FDA Clamps Down on Unapproved Cold
Drugs The Food and Drug Administration ordered companies to stop selling roughly 500 cough, cold and allergy medicines because the prescription drugs weren't approved by the agency. Many of these unapproved drugs went on sale before a 1962 law required the FDA to assess a drug's effectiveness and safety before allowing it on the market. For years, the FDA had allowed these grandfathered drugs to remain on sale, and doctors would sometimes prescribe them, confident that decades of use had proven their worth. These drugs tend to be made by small companies, and aren't top-selling brands. Read More
Imagine that! I guess unborn babies
ARE living beings! The kicks and somersaults of a developing baby aren’t the only in-utero calisthenics. Babies also flex their mental muscles months before birth. Nerve cells from developing brains as young as 20 weeks old fire in a pattern that persists into adulthood, researchers reported Tuesday in the Journal of Neuroscience. The research provides a glimpse into the behavior of extremely young brain cells and could help scientists understand what happens when brain development goes awry. Read More
The American Medical System A definitive review and close reading of medical peer-review journals, and government health statistics shows that American medicine frequently causes more harm than good. The number of people having in-hospital, adverse drug reactions (ADR) to prescribed medicine is 2.2 million. (1) Dr. Richard Besser, of the CDC , in 1995, said the number of unnecessary antibiotics prescribed annually for viral infections was 20 million. Dr. Besser, in 2003, now refers to tens of millions of unnecessary antibiotics. (2, 2a) The number of unnecessary medical and surgical procedures performed annually is 7.5 million. (3) The number of people exposed to unnecessary hospitalization annually is 8.9 million. (4) The total number of iatrogenic [induced inadvertently by a physician or surgeon or by medical treatment or diagnostic procedures] deaths is 783,936. The 2001 heart disease annual death rate is 699,697; the annual cancer death rate is 553,251. (5) It is evident that the American medical system is the leading cause of death and injury in the United States. Related: Is your doctor, caregiver, hospital or clinic guilty of Iatrogenic deaths? "I don't believe I ever killed a man that didn't deserve it", spoken by John Wayne in "The Shootist" (his last film). How many doctors, nurses and care givers can make that statement? Let's learn a couple of new words that both refer to the broad range of medical mayhem inflicted on patients by their caregivers; "nosocomial" and "iatrogenic", and then look at their significance. The term "nosocomial" comes from two Greek words: "nosus" meaning "disease" + "komeion" meaning "to take care of." Hence, "nosocomial" should apply to any disease contracted by a patient while under medical care. Read More
TSA caught in more radiation lies TSA claims about the safety of its radioactive full-body scanners are falling apart — and now, even the agency’s pals are backing away. Here’s the deal: In a desperate attempt to prove those scanners are safe, the TSA named all sorts of agencies and organizations that it claimed was helping to test and maintain them. Just one little problem: That was news to all those organizations and agencies. Read More
So...Palin
and Boehner were right! While Americans were busy celebrating with family and friends and presumably not paying attention to the news, the New York Times, in a story ironically dated Christmas Day -- a holiday celebrating the birth of the Prince of Peace -- reported the following:
Obama Returns to End-of-Life Plan That Caused Stir H1N1
vaccine linked to 700 percent increase in miscarriages Recent data presented to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Advisory Committee on Children's Vaccines has revealed some shocking information about the effects of the H1N1 / swine flu vaccine on pregnant women. According to the report, the rate of miscarriage among pregnant women during the 2009 H1N1 / swine flu pandemic soared by over 700 percent compared to previous years, pointing directly to the vaccine as the culprit -- but the CDC denies the truth and continues to insist nobody has been harmed. Drug firms have to stop paying
doctors Drug industry critics celebrated last month when Pro Publica announced a new searchable database called "Dollars for Docs." No longer will worried patients have to rely on reporters to expose doctors on the payroll of the drug industry. Now patients can do it themselves. With a few simple keystrokes, anyone with a computer can search the "Dollars for Docs" database to see how much money their doctor is getting from pharma. For decades pharmaceutical companies have given doctors gifts and money as ways of getting them to prescribe their drugs. During the flush 1990s, companies began ramping up these gifts dramatically -- entertaining doctors at expensive restaurants, sending them to conferences in exotic locations, even writing checks disguised as "unrestricted educational grants."
